61. 命令形 + and　の変形　　
　○ One more effort, and you will succeed.　もうひと奮発だ、そうすれば成功する 76. of + 抽象名詞 = 形容詞　と言う表現　　
　○ The watch I lost was of great value.　私が紛失した時計はなかなか高価なものだった

62. 代動詞としてのdo、　強調としての do　
　○ I love you more than he does.　ぼくが君を愛するのは彼が君を愛する以上だ。　
　● He does work hard, but somehow he remain as poor as ever.　
　　　　　彼は稼ぐ事は稼ぐが、どういうものか相変わらず貧乏だ 77. of one's own ---ing = 自ら----した、という表現　
　○ This pheasant is of my own shooting.　このきじは私が自分でうったのです　
　● I sent him a pheasant of my own shooting. 私は自分でうったきじを彼に送った

63. 現在、過去の規則的習慣　
　○ He goes to school. 彼は学校へ通っている。　
　● He will often sit for hours together, absorbed in deep thoughts.

　◎ I used to take the “Yomiuri”, but not now. 元は読売を取っていたが今は取らない。　
　○ He would often come home drunk and beat his wife. 彼はよく酔っぱらって帰って来て細君を打ったものだ
78. make ~ (out) of ----　という表現
　○ I will make a man of you.　私がお前を一人前にしてあげよう

64. be used to 名詞（または doing）という表現

65. 嗜好、才能を表す、have a ---- for / to ~ という表現

　◎ He has a genius for poetry.　彼は詩の天才だ 80. as it is, as one does等は「あのように」「このとおり」と訳して当たる

　● Living, as I do, so remote from towns, I rarely have visitors.　私はこのとおり片田舎に住んでいるから滅多に訪ねてくる人もいない

66. 体の一部を - - - - すると言う英語独特の表現　
　○ He took me by the hand.　彼は私の手を取った　　
　● He struck me on the head.　彼は私の頭を打った。
　◎ He looked me in the face. 　彼は私の顔を見た 81. 独立分詞構文（分詞構文の慣用句）
　○ Generally speaking, girls make better linguists than boys.　概して言えば女の子の方が男の子より語学が得意だ

67. 分離を表す前置詞 of について　
　○“I will ease you of your burden.” So saying, the highwayman robbed the traveler of his money.

82. 「さすがに勇敢な彼もわなわなと身震いした」の「さすがに」のような表現法

68.　不定詞の副詞的用法　
　○ 目的　He lived to see his son a great man.　私は友人を見送りに停車場に行った　
　● 結果He lived to see his son a great man.　彼は息子の偉くなるまで生きていた　
　◎ 原因　She wept to see her son in such a plight. 彼女は息子の哀れな姿を見て泣いた 83. may well : ~ するのももっともだ、と言う表現　
　○ He may well be proud of his son. 彼が息子を自慢するのももっともだ。
　● He is proud of his son, and well he may.　彼は息子が自慢だ、また自慢するのも無理はない

69. 知覚動詞 ( see, feel, hear, know etc ) + 目的語 + 補語　
　○ I saw him enter the room.　私は彼が部屋へ入るのを見た
84. may as well, might as wellという表現　
　○ You may as well call a cat a little tiger as call a tiger a big　cat.　虎を大きな猫と言う様に猫を小さな虎と言っても良い
　● You might as well call a horse a fish as call a whale one. 　馬を魚と言う事ができないように鯨を魚と言う事もできない

70. have + 目的語 + Root-Infinitive （toのない不定詞）
　○ I will have some one come.　だれかに来させよう；来てもらおう　　
　● I shall have some one come.　だれかに来られるだろう
85. 意志を表す助動詞 will 　
　○ Accidents will happen.　事故はどうしても起こるものだ。　
　● This cork will not come out.　この栓はどうしても抜けない

71. have + 目的語 + 過去分詞　という文型について　
　○ I shall have my watch stolen.　時計を盗まれるだろう　
　● I will have my watch mended.　時計を直させよう 86. 第一人称の意志 ( I will ) を裏面から述べる時に用いる shall 　
　○ You shall live. 貴様は助けてやる　　
　● He shall die.　あいつは殺してしまう

72. 絶対不定詞・・・不定詞の成句

73. to say nothing of ~ と言う表現　
　○ He knows German and French, to say nothing of English.　英語はもとより、ドイツ語、フランス語も知っている　
　● He does not know English, to say nothing of German of French.　ドイツ語、フランス語はおろか、英語すら知らない 88. 遺憾、驚き、いぶかしさを表す助動詞 should の使い方　
　○What a pity that things should have come to this!　事ここに至るとは何と言う遺憾なことであろう。　　
　● I am surprised that you should say so! 君がそういうとは意外だ。　　
　◎ Who are you that you should speak thus to me? そんな失敬なことを言うとは貴様は一体何者だ

74. There is no ----ing, It is no use ---ing　と言う表現　
　○ There is no staying at home in this fine weather.　こんな天気にとても家に閉じこもっちゃいられない　
　● It is no use crying.　泣いたってダメだ 89. 「すべき」「すべきであった（のにしなかった）」を表す助動詞 should 　
　○One should obey the dictates of one’s conscience.　人は良心の命ずることに従うべきものである。　　
　● You should have obeyed your father.　お前はお父さんの言う事を聞くべきだった

75. 形容詞 + of で動詞のように振る舞う用法について
